At Mann Dental, we do our best to establish dental care plans that help you avoid the need for emergency care. However, we recognize and make space for emergency procedures.
We’ve all had times when we need dental care, and we need it right now! From loose fillings to a chipped or cracked tooth or a cavity that causes intense pain, there are times when you need to see your dentist right away.
At Mann Dental, we provide quality dental care in every situation. From regular procedures to an emergency root canal, our priority is to make sure you trust and are comfortable and confident in the care you receive. We have a great deal of experience treating patients experiencing a dental emergency. All that you need to remember is that no matter the situation, we’re here to take care of you.
Most Common Dental Emergencies
Damaged teeth
Damage in the permanent teeth, particularly those that reach down into the tooth’s inner layer (dentin), needs to be treated as quickly as possible to prevent infection and pain.
Lost Fillings
While this may not seem like an urgent situation, it’s crucial that you seek immediate dental attention. Your lost filling can lead to pain, infection, and in worst-case scenarios, can compromise or corrupt your tooth. If you leave your dentin exposed for too long, it may lead to the need for a root canal.
Bleeding and Trauma
The causes of bleeding and trauma can be varied. Teeth can become dislodged; gum tissue can become damaged. Regardless of the situation you find yourself in when you experience bleeding or trauma, you should give us a call as soon as possible.
Post Dental Surgery Complications
Sometimes pain can be persistent after a procedure like a root canal or even a tooth extraction. In those cases, we make ourselves available and provide you with the comprehensive care you need to feel better.
